Fill-A-Fire Truck Thank You!!
By CFD Web Administrator
December 16, 2015
Our sincere thanks to all of the Cheshire residents, who came out to support our first-ever Fill-A-Fire Truck.
Due to the incredible outpouring of support from the Cheshire community, we were able to far exceed our goals. Together with your support, the members of the Cheshire Fire Department were able to collect 4 full carriages of non-perishable food items for the Cheshire food pantry.
In addition, numerous toys and games were donated to the Cheshire Social Service Department. Donors also generously made cash contributions, which was forwarded to the Cheshire Rotary Club.
We could not have asked for a better kick-off to this annual event and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
