12/23/2020. At approximately 10:50AM the CFD was dispatched for a house fire. On arrival of first units there was fire showing from the front door extending from the basement and working its way to the 1st floor of the house. 2 hand lines where stretched to extinguish the fire while simultaneously searching for any residents inside. The fire was brought under control quickly and the searches were negative. All the residents made it out safely. 3 Cheshire engines and 1 ladder were on scene along with 1 engine and 1 ladder truck from Southington. There were no reported injuries. The fire in under investigation by the Cheshire FMO.
