Motor Vehicle Extrication on South Meriden Road

On Friday, January 8, 2016 at approximately 23:00 hours, Cheshire Firefighters responded to the area of 350 South Meriden Road, near the intersection of Cortland Circle, for a motor vehicle collision with extrication.

Upon arrival, Firefighters found a single SUV that had struck a large tree and sustained significant impact damage to the vehicle. There were two occupants of the vehicle that required extrication by fire personnel.

Both occupants were extricated in under 10 minutes of the Fire Department's arrival and transported to a local hospital.
