On Monday, August 31, 2015, more than 40 Cheshire Fire Fighters participated in a "fire dynamics" training class presented by Battalion Chief P.J. Norwood of the East Haven Fire Department.

The training included both a classroom and a unique and creative fire and smoke/gas flow demonstration using a simple dollhouse training prop constructed by a member of the Cheshire Fire Department, which provided a visual representation of several of the models presented during the class.
