It is with heavy hearts and deep regret that Chief Jack Casner and the Cheshire Fire Department announces the passing of our Fire Marshal, John "Jeff" Boland. Jeff was a member of the Cheshire Fire Department for 52 years, he was a Deputy Fire Marshal for 20 years and has been our Fire Marshal for the last 16 years.

Jeff leaves his wife Diane, his daughter Tara, her husband Dan and their two boys Ian and Kyle and his trusted companion, a standard poodle named “Blue."

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held Saturday August 8, 2015, 9:15 am from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery.
