On Monday, December 15, 2014 at 01:09 hours, Cheshire Fire Fighters responded to Fenn Road for a report of a car that had struck a tree and was on fire. Engine 5 responding from the South End Fire Station arrived on scene and immediately went to work to extinguish the fire. Engine 2 responding from Fire Headquarters arrived shortly thereafter and assisted Engine 5 with extinguishment and support. Fire units cleared the scene a short time later. The Cheshire Police Department is investigating.
