| On Friday, June 1, 2012, Cheshire Fire Fighters participated in Doolittle Elementary School's Annual Touch-A-Truck. Fire Fighters brought Engine #6 to the school for several hours and spent time with all First and Second Grade students discussing the operations of the fire truck and also promoting home fire safety. According to Cheshire Fire Department Deputy Fire Marshal Mike Kozlowski: "This was an excellent hands-on opportunity to allow the kids to see the equipment on the truck and also teach them methods of staying safe while at home." |
