was dispatched to a rollover motor vehicle accident with extrication on I-691. Responding units were Car 3, FM 1, Rescue 1 and Engine 3. FM 1 was first on scene reporting a dump truck rollover with extrication required. It was also determined that the incident was in the town of Southington. Southington was notified to respond and arrived shortly thereafter. Crews from both Cheshire and Southington proceeded to extricate the driver of the truck. Extrication was completed in about 15 minutes and patient care was transferred to the awaiting ambulance. The truck was carrying reclaimed asphalt millings that covered the highway. State police and State D.O.T. remained on scene to direct traffic and clean up the roadway.
