8.8.2019-At Approximately 11:30 pm the Cheshire Fire Department received a call for an occupied house on fire. The Deputy Chief arrived within 3 minutes to find this house well involved in fire on the Charlie-Delta corner (rear side). The deputy confirmed all occupants where out safe. 4 engines and 1 ladder truck arrived shortly thereafter. 2 handlines were deployed for a defensive attack while the ladder truck was setup in case it was needed. The bulk of the fire was knocked down with 5 minutes. Overhaul continued for the next 90 minutes while hot spots were doused. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Cheshire Fire Marshals office.
