On June 28, 2016 at approximately 1:30 PM, Cheshire Firefighters responded to Waterbury Road near the intersection of Old Waterbury Road for a dump truck rollover.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a large dump truck on it's side with the contents dumped onto the roadway. The driver of the truck was able to free himself on his own, but sustained minor injuries.

Firefighters remained on the scene for several hours working to control fluid leaks from the truck and providing protection while the truck was brought upright.

The Cheshire Police Department is investigating.
