This week, the steel front bumper was installed on the chassis. Additional work will continue to outfit the bumper and front of cab with warning lights, headlights, scene lights, sirens, etc.

The Federal "Q" siren will be recessed in the middle of the front bumper to prevent it from protruding beyond the front of the bumper.

The interior of the crew cab area is nearly complete.
|

A shelf was added over the engine compartment in order to assist with the mounting of radios and other cab-related equipment. The two contact pedals are for siren controls.

The torque box and aerial hydraulics were mounted onto the chassis this week.
|

Workers from Pierce are in the process of lowered the front transverse compartment onto the frame rails. This will be the compartment closest to the crew cab.

Once bolted into place, this compartment will be outfitted with several custom storage mounts to hold equipment. A large fixed tool box will also be installed under the sliding trays in this compartment.

The rear body compartments sit waiting to be lowered onto the frame of the truck.

The rear body compartments are nearly complete and will receive final finishing after it is mounted onto the frame.
